Description

A warm, soothing Apple Cinnamon Tea made with fresh apples, real cinnamon sticks, and simple ingredients that create a naturally sweet and comforting drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tea bag (black, green, or rooibos), optional
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, optional
  • 1 lemon slice or 1 teaspoon lemon juice, optional

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a gentle simmer in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the apple slices and cinnamon stick to the simmering water.
  3. Let the mixture simmer until the apples soften and the cinnamon infuses.
  4. Turn off the heat and add the tea bag if using, then steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Strain the tea into a mug and sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  6. Add lemon for brightness and garnish with fresh apple slices or a cinnamon stick.

Notes

  1. Simmer the apples longer for a sweeter, fuller flavor.
  2. Use rooibos tea if you prefer a caffeine-free version.
  3. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
