2 1/2 cups whole milk
6 large eggs
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Nonstick cooking spray


Instructions

  • Brown sausage in a medium skillet over medium heat until golden and crumbly.

  • Sprinkle flour over sausage and stir until fully absorbed.

  • Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until the gravy thickens.

  • Cut biscuits into quarters and layer them in a greased baking dish.

  • Pour the sausage gravy evenly over the biscuit pieces.

  • In a bowl, whisk eggs, salt, pepper, and garlic powder; pour over the gravy layer.

  • Top with shredded cheddar cheese and a sprinkle of paprika.

  • Bake at 350°F for 30–35 minutes or until golden brown and set.

  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
