Description

A decadent dessert that combines rich, fudgy brownie layers with creamy, tangy cheesecake swirls. Cheesecake brownies are easy to make, visually stunning, and perfect for any occasion.

Brownie Layer:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter

  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • ¼ tsp salt

Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg

  •  tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.

  • Melt butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. Let cool slightly.

  • Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until glossy. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla and mix until creamy.

  • Pour most of the brownie batter into the pan. Spread the cheesecake layer on top.

  • Drop the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl with a knife.

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until center is just set.

  • Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For cleaner slices, chill the brownies before cutting.

Don’t over-swirl to preserve the marbled look.

Brownies can be frozen after slicing.
