Ingredients
2 cups crumbled cornbread
1–1/2 cups chicken broth
2 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh herbs (sage, thyme)
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
6 cups crumbled cornbread
1/2 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the crumbled cornbread, chicken broth, eggs, olive oil, and herbs. Stir in the chopped celery and onion.
Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 50 minutes at 350°F. Then, remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the top to turn golden brown.
Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
