Ingredients
For the Pasta & Proteins:
8 oz fettuccine pasta
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into 1-inch pieces)
10 oz medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
For the Alfredo Sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
¾ cup chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Cook the Pasta:
Boil fettuccine in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.Season the Proteins:
Toss chicken and shrimp separately with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder.Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sauté 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add shrimp and cook 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Stir in cream and cream cheese, whisking until smooth.
Add Parmesan, black pepper, and salt. Stir until fully melted and creamy.
Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.Combine Everything:
Add pasta, chicken, and shrimp into the skillet. Toss gently to coat evenly in the sauce. Heat until everything is warmed through.Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Cook chicken and shrimp separately to prevent overcooking.
Reserve pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
You can substitute fettuccine with linguine or penne.
Adjust Cajun seasoning for more or less heat.
