Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and ground pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon roasted red chili paste
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add ground chicken, season lightly with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it up as it cooks.
  3. While the chicken cooks, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and roasted red chili paste.
  4. Add the coleslaw mix to the skillet and stir until it begins to soften.
  5. Pour in the sauce and cook, stirring, until everything is evenly coated and the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
