Chicken Parmesan Sliders

Description

Cheesy, bite-sized chicken parmesan sliders packed with crispy chicken, marinara sauce, and gooey mozzarella. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls

  • 12 small breaded chicken tenders or nuggets, cooked

  • 1 ½ cups marinara sauce

  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.

  2. Slice slider buns horizontally, keeping each set connected. Place the bottoms in the dish.

  3. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Brush lightly on the bun bottoms.

  4. Spread marinara sauce over buns. Add one chicken tender or nugget per bun.

  5. Top each piece of chicken with additional marinara, then sprinkle mozzarella generously.

  6. Place the top buns over the chicken and press gently. Brush tops with remaining garlic butter and sprinkle with Parmesan.

  7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5–7 minutes until cheese melts and tops are golden brown.

  8. Rest for 3–5 minutes. Cut sliders apart and garnish with basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Toast the bottom buns lightly before assembly to prevent sogginess.

Use pre-cooked chicken to save time, or bread and bake fresh chicken for extra crunch.

Freeze leftovers individually wrapped for quick reheating.
