Description

A chilled molded Coconut Dome dessert featuring a creamy coconut center and a smooth chocolate shell, styled with tropical flavors and elegant texture contrast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded coconut, unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk or coconut cream
  • 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • Optional: toasted coconut flakes
  • Optional: crushed pecans or almonds
  • Optional: thin banana slices
  • Optional: raspberries

Instructions

  1. Combine shredded coconut, coconut milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla, and sea salt.
  2. Mix until the mixture sticks together without feeling too wet.
  3. Press the coconut mixture firmly into silicone dome molds.
  4. Freeze the molds for at least 30 minutes to firm.
  5. Melt chocolate and coconut oil until smooth and glossy.
  6. Unmold the coconut domes and spoon chocolate over the tops to coat.
  7. Refrigerate the domes until the chocolate shell has fully set.
  8. Serve chilled with toasted coconut or additional garnish.

Notes

  1. Toast the coconut for deeper flavor.
  2. Allow domes to chill long enough to maintain shape during dipping.
  3. Avoid overheating the chocolate for a smoother shell.
