Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- ¾ cup water or beef broth
- 2 tbsp masa harina
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- Optional: 1 tbsp tomato paste
- Optional: pinch of cocoa powder or splash of vinegar/lime juice
Instructions

Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked, breaking it into fine crumbles.
