- 2 cups medium pasta shells, uncooked
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil pasta shells in salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet and brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in tomato sauce and beef broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release flavor.
- Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
- Lower heat, stir in heavy cream and cooked pasta shells.
- Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and creamy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
