  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 46 servings 1x

Description

A bold and flavorful Southern-style seafood boil inspired by Dan’s Seafood, featuring shrimp, crab, crawfish, corn, potatoes, and sausage simmered in spicy Cajun butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 lb crawfish

  • 1 lb snow crab legs

  • 4 red potatoes, halved

  • 2 ears of corn, cut into thirds

  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced

  • 1 lemon, quartered

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tbsp Dan-O’s Seasoning

  • ½ cup unsalted butter

  • 2 bay leaves

  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Fill a large stockpot with water and bring to a boil.

  • Add garlic, lemon, bay leaves, and Dan-O’s Seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.

  • Add potatoes and cook for 10 minutes.

  • Add corn and sausage, cook for another 5 minutes.

  • Stir in shrimp, crawfish, and crab legs. Cook for 5–6 minutes, or until seafood is cooked through.

  • In a separate pan, melt butter and mix in more Dan-O’s Seasoning.

  • Drain the boil and toss everything in the seasoned butter sauce.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Let the seafood sit in the pot off the heat for 10 minutes to absorb flavor.

Adjust the spice level by adding more seasoning or red pepper flakes.

Use fresh seafood when possible for the best texture and flavor.
