Description

These Easy Sausage Egg & Cheese Roll-Ups are the ultimate breakfast solution—quick, hearty, and satisfying. With savory sausage, creamy scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese wrapped in golden roll dough, they’re perfect for busy mornings or a weekend brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet crescent or roll dough

  • 4 large eggs

  • 12 tablespoons butter

  • Splash of milk

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • ½ cup cooked breakfast sausage (crumbled)

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mix of cheddar and American)

  • Optional:  diced vegetables

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:

    • Set oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Cook the Sausage:

    • In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned. Set aside.

  • Scramble the Eggs:

    • In the same skillet, melt butter. Whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble until just cooked. Set aside.

  • Assemble the Roll-Ups:

    • Unroll the dough and spread it flat. Sprinkle with cheese, then layer eggs and sausage.

    • Roll the dough tightly and cut into 8 even pieces.

  • Bake:

    • Place rolls on the baking sheet, spacing them out. Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.

  • Serve:

    • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm.

Notes

Customize with sautéed veggies or different cheeses.

Brush tops with egg wash or milk for a golden finish.
