- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 small flour or corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles, then drain excess fat.
- Reduce heat and add butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt completely.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
- Add honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef evenly.
- Warm the tortillas until soft and pliable.
- Fill tortillas with the beef mixture and top with cheese, cilantro, and red onion.
- Serve immediately while warm.
