Description

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 small flour or corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles, then drain excess fat.
  2. Reduce heat and add butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt completely.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  4. Add honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef evenly.
  6. Warm the tortillas until soft and pliable.
  7. Fill tortillas with the beef mixture and top with cheese, cilantro, and red onion.
  8. Serve immediately while warm.
