- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Once hot, sear the steak cubes in a single layer for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Remove the steak from the pan and set aside to rest.
- Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
- When butter melts, stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Return the steak to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a cast iron skillet for the best sear and flavor.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan — cook in batches if necessary.
- For a dairy-free version, replace butter with olive oil or plant-based butter.
