Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Pat steak cubes dry with paper towels and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  3. Once hot, sear the steak cubes in a single layer for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside to rest.
  5. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
  6. When butter melts, stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  7. Return the steak to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
