- 2 pounds ground beef (90% lean or higher)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) beans, drained
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- Add ground beef to the slow cooker (browned or raw) with onion and garlic.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes, beans, broth, and all seasonings.
- Stir gently to combine and cover with lid.
- Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Add shredded cheese near the end and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can brown the beef before adding for deeper flavor.
