Ingredients
2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons hot sauce
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Olive oil for cooking
Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish
Instructions
1. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness and season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Set up breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mix of panko breadcrumbs and feta.
3. Coat each piece of chicken in flour, then egg, then press into panko-feta mixture until evenly coated.
4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
5. Alternatively, bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
6. In a saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, chili flakes, and vinegar; warm until blended.
7. Drizzle warm hot honey over cooked chicken and top with extra feta and parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, bake instead of fry.
Adjust spice by increasing or reducing chili flakes or hot sauce.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat in an air fryer or oven.
