A refreshing, caffeine-free herbal latte made with roasted dandelion root and chaga mushrooms. This iced beverage delivers earthy flavor, creamy texture, and immune-boosting benefits. Ideal for coffee alternatives and wellness-focused routines.
Ingredients
1 tbsp dried chaga chunks (or chaga powder)
1 tbsp roasted dandelion root
2 cups filtered water
1/2 cup plant-based milk (oat, almond, or coconut)
1–2 tsp maple syrup (or honey/agave)
Optional: dash of cinnamon or splash of vanilla extract
Ice cubes (for serving)
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine chaga chunks and roasted dandelion root with filtered water.
Simmer gently for 20–30 minutes.
Strain the herbal tea and let it cool to room temperature.
Fill a glass with ice and pour in 1/2 cup of the brewed tea.
Add plant-based milk and sweetener to taste.
Optionally, add a dash of cinnamon or vanilla.
Stir well and serve chilled.
Notes
Chaga powder can be used instead of chunks and steeps faster (10–15 minutes).
Store extra brewed tea in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Adjust milk, sweeteners, or spices to your liking.
Avoid adding milk before storing the tea base.
