- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 fried egg (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef.
- Break apart the beef with a spatula and cook until browned and slightly crisp on the edges.
- Drain excess fat if needed.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and stir well to combine.
- Simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens and coats the beef.
