Description

A bright and refreshing pineapple orange smoothie packed with citrus flavor. Creamy, naturally sweet, and perfect for breakfast or a healthy boost anytime of day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup fresh orange segments or orange juice
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt or non-dairy yogurt
  • ½ cup coconut water, almond milk, or regular milk
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 34 ice cubes (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add frozen pineapple and fresh orange segments to a blender.
  2. Add yogurt and your preferred liquid such as coconut water, almond milk, or dairy milk.
  3. Add honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract if desired.
  4. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  5. Adjust texture by adding more liquid if too thick or ice cubes for a colder, thicker smoothie.
  6. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  1. Use frozen pineapple for the best thick and creamy smoothie texture.
  2. For a lighter smoothie, replace yogurt with coconut water or fresh orange juice.
  3. Add a handful of spinach for extra nutrients without changing the flavor.
  4. Blend in vanilla protein powder to make it more filling after workouts.
  5. Taste before adding sweetener because pineapple is naturally sweet.
