- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, sliced
- 5 cloves garlic, minced

- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon cold water (optional for thickening)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cut beef into bite-sized cubes and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- (Optional) Sear the beef in a skillet with a little butter until browned.
- Add the beef, minced garlic, onion, paprika, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce to the slow cooker.
- Top with butter slices and cover.
- Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours until tender.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, stir in the cornstarch slurry during the last 20 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
