Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon acai powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon passion fruit powder or 1 tablespoon passion fruit juice
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons sugar or sweetener
  • 1 cup cold water, lemonade, or coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup freeze-dried or fresh strawberries
  • Ice


Instructions

  1. Simmer strawberries, white grape juice, and water until berries soften and liquid turns bright red.
  2. Strain mixture to remove solids and create a smooth strawberry base.
  3. Stir in acai powder, lemon juice, passion fruit, and sweetener while warm.
  4. Chill the strawberry-acai base completely.
  5. Combine base with cold water, lemonade, or coconut milk.
  6. Add ice and freeze-dried or fresh strawberries.
  7. Stir or shake before serving.

Notes

  1. Store base in a sealed jar for up to one week.
  2. Shake before using as fruit particles may settle.
