- 1 packet taco seasoning (about 1 oz)
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese
- 24 mini phyllo tart shells
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain excess grease, then stir in taco seasoning and water.
- Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and mix in ranch dressing and shredded cheese.
- Arrange phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the taco ranch mixture evenly into each shell.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until heated through and lightly golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Drain tomatoes well to avoid soggy shells.
- Do not overfill the phyllo cups to keep them crisp.
- These bites can be reheated in the oven at 350°F for best texture.
