  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and half the Old Bay. Cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Let cool, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually mix in sour cream and mayonnaise until well combined.
  • Stir in lemon juice, remaining Old Bay, minced garlic, and chopped chives. Season with salt and pepper.

Do not freeze – dairy base will separate

For a lighter version, substitute half the cream cheese with Greek yogurt
