Description

Soft, chewy Valentine Oreo M&M Cookies loaded with crushed Oreos and festive M&Ms, baked to a golden finish with a tender center and crisp edges.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped Oreos
  • 1 cup Valentine M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy, then mix in the egg and vanilla.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in chopped Oreos, Valentine M&Ms, and chocolate chips if using.
  6. Scoop dough into balls and place on the baking sheet, adding extra M&Ms on top.
  7. Bake 9–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers appear slightly underdone.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a rack.

Notes

  1. Chill the dough for 20–30 minutes for thicker cookies.
  2. Measure flour lightly to avoid dense or dry cookies.
  3. Press extra M&Ms or Oreo pieces on top before baking for a bakery-style appearance.
