Description
Flaky crescent rolls filled with creamy, sweet cheesecake filling and topped with cinnamon sugar. These heavenly bites are quick to make, perfect for brunches, gatherings, or cozy dessert moments.
Ingredients
2 cans of crescent roll dough
2 (8 oz) blocks full-fat cream cheese, softened
½ cup granulated sugar (for filling)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
⅓ cup granulated sugar (for topping)
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Optional: ¼ cup melted butter for brushing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add ½ cup sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix until creamy.
Unroll one can of crescent dough into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Press to form an even layer and seal seams.
Spread cream cheese mixture over the dough.
Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it on top, sealing seams.
In a small bowl, mix ⅓ cup sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon. Sprinkle over the dough.
Optional: brush top layer with melted butter before sprinkling cinnamon-sugar.
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden brown and set.
Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for smooth blending.
Chill rolls before baking for a flakier texture.
Flavor variations include lemon zest, berries, or chocolate chips.
