Description

A refreshing homemade version of the Iced Cherry Chai Starbucks Copycat featuring warm chai spice, sweet cherry syrup, and creamy cherry cold foam.


Ingredients

  • Chai concentrate, chilled – 1 cup
  • Whole milk or oat milk – 1/2 cup
  • Ice – as needed
  • Frozen or fresh cherries – 1 cup
  • Granulated sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Water – 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Heavy cream – 1/4 cup
  • Milk – 2 tablespoons
  • Cherry syrup – 1 tablespoon
  • Freeze-dried cherries, crushed – optional
  • Vanilla cookie crumbs – optional


Instructions

  1. Combine cherries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan and simmer until thickened. Strain and cool the syrup.
  2. Mix heavy cream, milk, and cherry syrup. Froth until light and airy.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in chai concentrate and milk.
  4. Add 1–2 tablespoons cherry syrup and stir gently.
  5. Top with cherry cold foam and optional garnishes.

Notes

  1. Cherry syrup can be refrigerated for up to two weeks.
  2. Prepare cold foam just before serving for best texture.
