A creamy shrimp and mushroom skillet dish that brings together juicy shrimp, savory mushrooms, and rich cream sauce for a comforting, gourmet-style meal that’s quick and easy to make.
Ingredients
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup sliced mushrooms (cremini or shiitake)
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup white wine (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add mushrooms and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Stir in garlic and cook for another minute.
Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
Pour in wine and cream. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with parsley.
Notes
Substitute white wine with seafood broth if preferred.
Best served with rice, pasta, or crusty bread.
Do not overcook shrimp; remove them once they turn pink.
Optional: Add a pinch of chili flakes for heat.
