Description

Spicy tuna salad is a bold, creamy, and protein-rich twist on traditional tuna salad. It’s made with canned tuna, sriracha, mayo, and crisp veggies. It’s perfect for wraps, bowls, or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans solid white albacore tuna, drained

  • 34 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 12 teaspoons sriracha (or more to taste)

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 rib celery, finely chopped

  • 2 tablespoons red onion or scallions, finely chopped

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: sesame oil, soy sauce, chilli flakes, chopped jalapeños, fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Flake drained the tuna in a mixing bowl.

  • Add mayonnaise, sriracha, and lemon juice. Mix well.

  • Stir in chopped celery and onion.

  • Season with salt and pepper.

  • Add optional flavour boosters like sesame oil or chilli flakes.

  • Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a healthier version, swap mayo with Greek yogurt or avocado.

Add-ins like kimchi, pickled ginger, or Dijon mustard create bold flavour twists.

For variety, serve in lettuce wraps, over toast, or rice bowls.
