Description
Spicy tuna salad is a bold, creamy, and protein-rich twist on traditional tuna salad. It’s made with canned tuna, sriracha, mayo, and crisp veggies. It’s perfect for wraps, bowls, or meal prep.
Ingredients
2 cans solid white albacore tuna, drained
3–4 tablespoons mayonnaise
1–2 teaspoons sriracha (or more to taste)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 rib celery, finely chopped
2 tablespoons red onion or scallions, finely chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: sesame oil, soy sauce, chilli flakes, chopped jalapeños, fresh parsley
Instructions
Flake drained the tuna in a mixing bowl.
Add mayonnaise, sriracha, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Stir in chopped celery and onion.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add optional flavour boosters like sesame oil or chilli flakes.
Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a healthier version, swap mayo with Greek yogurt or avocado.
Add-ins like kimchi, pickled ginger, or Dijon mustard create bold flavour twists.
For variety, serve in lettuce wraps, over toast, or rice bowls.
