Description

Soft, fluffy strawberry cheesecake cinnamon rolls filled with sweet strawberries and finished with a creamy cream cheese glaze. A comforting homemade treat perfect for brunch, weekends, or special mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup whole milk, warm
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, for dusting
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup seedless strawberry jam
  • 3/4 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tablespoon whole milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk and sugar together, then sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit until foamy.
  2. Mix in the flour, egg, butter, vanilla extract, and salt until a soft dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size.
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Mix the strawberry jam, chopped strawberries, and cinnamon, then spread evenly over the dough.
  6. Cut the dough into strips and roll each strip into a cinnamon roll shape.
  7. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise again until puffy.
  8. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven until lightly golden and set.
  9. Beat the cream cheese, butter, confectioners’ sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  10. Spread the glaze over the warm rolls and serve.

Notes

  1. A slightly sticky dough is normal and helps keep the rolls soft.
  2. Fresh strawberries work best for texture and moisture control.
  3. These rolls can be assembled the night before and baked in the morning.
