A refreshing homemade Strawberry Iced Tea made with fresh strawberries, brewed tea, and bright citrus for a naturally sweet and vibrant summer drink.

- 4 cups water
- 2 black tea bags or 2 teaspoons loose-leaf black tea
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup cold water
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Ice for serving
Instructions
- Simmer the water until it reaches a gentle boil and steep the black tea for five to eight minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and let the brewed tea cool slightly.
- In a saucepan, combine sliced strawberries, sugar, and a splash of water and cook until softened.
- Mash the berries lightly to release their juices, then strain to create a smooth syrup.
- Combine the brewed tea, cold water, and strawberry syrup in a pitcher and stir well.
- Chill for at least one hour before serving over ice.
Notes
- For a lighter flavor, use green tea instead of black tea.
- Adjust sweetness by increasing or reducing sugar to taste.
